As I go back today and re-read my prayer journal from the days after Covid was declared a pandemic, I think to myself… “Not much more needs to be said. Just publish these pages and let the words speak for themselves.”
So, over the next few blog posts, I’m just going to share the journal entries I made through late March and into April of 2020. Not much context is necessary. I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Lord, I’m sitting on my back porch with my son Maddox and I’m so grateful for him. He is such a sweet kid with a good heart. Help me make sure he always has that heart. I love him so much.
Amidst all this coronavirus crisis, I had another team member, [Name omitted for privacy], call out sick this morning. I pray for him and for all our team members that aren’t feeling well. Protect them. Protect my family. Protect me. From this virus.
I’ve been holding onto your words in Matthew 6:33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all things will be given to you as well. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.
When I feel so responsible for my family and my team, it’s so difficult to not worry about tomorrow. I have a business that is closed with zero to little income coming in due to this virus. It could be weeks before we operate “normally” again.
Please help me. Spark ideas. Spark confidence. Remind me of your promises. I know you have a plan in all this. Forgive me when I start to lose faith. May I keep my eyes fixed upon you when I step out of the boat and walk on troubled waters. I love you Lord.
Amen. Collin
Until next time, wishing you and yours many blessings.
